The same. Maybe more.
Trains can't solve this anyway, there is no way the SNCF, even if it is committed to never making money, can effectively service all the around 36,500 communes that exist in Metropolitan France.

Are you aware of Alain de Benoist? He is one of my favorite philosophers.

Yes. The RN does not support cutting down on welfare, nor is it against human rights. In fact, it might sue you for slander if you say it is...![]()

You wish, because you are bourgeois like the original French revolutionaries. Are you familiar with the Reign of Terror of the First French Republic and how liberalism destroyed France during that time period? France has gone through five different republics and they have all been complete failures.

Well of course. Making them smell nicer, improving the coffee at existing stations, those are both definitely as, if not more, important.

Oh certainly not, not at the size and scope a rail line is.

However, the solution is obvious: trollies to take passengers to rail lines. If big train too big, use smaller train.

You're just so full of laughs, aren't you? You are making a laughing stock of France and I'm sure most people don't appreciate that. I gave you an elementary history lesson because it is obvious you don't care about your country or it's history.

I like France, I really do, but good coffee has not been on any of its statements of human rights, and it is the country that really ought to, as the coffee elsewhere than train stations is usually quite good.

It's because I care about my country that I oppose your views in the original quote. And thankfully, so does the RN. Publicly.

1. Are you a bourgeois socialist then if you don't support liberalism?
2. I never said that welfare should be abolished, I said that it was woefully inadequate at making people content with their lives.

You even have coffee at your regular metro stations? Only our biggest train stations have much. At most you have no such facilities. Just a concrete platform and some automated ticket machines.
And as far as the smell maybe people should stop peeing on the trains (unless they have a toilet). That is just nasty.

Well I mean America... Public transportation... It's not fair to compare that to Europe... How about Lagos?

In all fairness it varies in America. Our public transportation is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be, at least in many places. Sure it needs work, but several cities have very good public transportation. Of course many have almost none at all. It varies.
We actually have pretty good commuter rail in several cities. The DC commuter rail is good.
The trains are clean and have bathrooms so people do not pee on the floor.
Union Station is nice too. But most of the stations are very spartan. No coffee, but they get the job done.
Also we have learned trains should have linoleum floors and plastic seats. Carpet is a horrible idea.

I don't disagree about the sentiment on instant coffee, not at all.
But do you really think... France... Coffee? I'm genuinely wondering now, I don't consider us as being coffee aficionados. The Italians sure, but us...
Surprisingly, some. It's not good, but it's god damn coffee. I'll take what I can get.Novus America wrote:Kubra wrote: Well of course. Making them smell nicer, improving the coffee at existing stations, those are both definitely as, if not more, important.

You can get a decent coffee anywhere, sure, but in a place like France you can usually just expect it.Surprisingly, some. It's not good, but it's god damn coffee. I'll take what I can get.Novus America wrote:

In all seriousness there are some parts of the paris metro that do frankly smell of piss, but ehh, I mean folks gotta piss somewhere and in big cities they'll all tend to piss in the same places.
Sure, my local city doesn't smell of piss, but that's probably not for lack of trying by its denizens. There just aren't enough of us pissing.
