As previously mentioned, Israel is the only stable nation in the Middle East. Well, the only stable nation that isn't starting civil wars in other nations. The Middle East is similar to a bunch of screaming children. I mean, Israel did wipe out Egypt, Palestine, Syria and Jordan in only six days. Even if the Middle East wanted to wipe out Israel (who am i kidding, they do) they couldn't even without America's assistance. They are too factionalized, even those nations which aren't under the influence of the west. Iran hates Saudi Arabia, Iraq hates Iran, Kuwait hates Iraq, Turkey hates Iraq AND Syria, and then you have the Kurds.

Speaking of Turkey and the Kurds, they are the only sensible groups in the Middle East apart from The West and Israel. Turkey embraced secularization and it is vastly more stable and wealthy than say, Syria.
