The West has a lot of influence in the middle east and they're responsible for stiring up a lot of chaos among many Muslim brothers. Personally, if the Muslims of the middle east stopped fighting one another and United to form a Caliphate and remove western influence from the middle east, they're better off by themselves.

The Saudis are puppets of the United States and they should be cooperating with Muslim countries more than relying on the imperialistic west who try to shove their secularism down the throats of Muslims.

If anything, the west should start colonising the Middle East again. It's the only way to prevent thèse conflicts from going to the west.

Westerners aren't destroying Islam though. The United States doesn't go off and bomb Uzbekistan's Mosques. The West collectively agrees that you should have the right to elect your own leaders. Additionally, you should be allowed to live under a ruler who isn't put in his position purely by religious dogma. Be it the Pope or a Caliph, its wrong either way. Every human being should have the right to democracy rather than totalitarianism.

The Middle East is far from united in any case. What about the Jews in Israel? They have no interest in being ruled by a Caliph, so your options are to forcibly remove them via a difficult war which will cost thousands of jewish and muslim lives, or you can allow them to remain in peace. Palestine is thereby offended though, so what do you do? Who even is right in that debate? What about the Sunni-Shia split, what sect of Islam should be ruled by the Caliph? The one that agree's with you? Religion should NOT be infused with government. It has only caused suffering and pain, just like state atheism. People should be free to practice their own religions without a jizya tax. People should have an elected government.

Israel should be removed from the face of the Earth.

They don't belong in the middle east. Palestine should take them back. And all their leaders should be executed for crimes against Muslims.

Why would we colonize the middle east?

The best idea is to quickly find a alternative for oil and just shut down all relations and let THEM deal with their stuff. The west is not the third world's nanny.
