Hey, it'll be a great day when The Joker can walk into a gun store and order crateloads of full automatic weapons without the staff blinking an eye, much take a second to wonder if that's such a good idea.

Either it’s not too serious or we change her name to Ruth Badass Ginsburg..

As if gun control would even stop the Joker.
Honestly, Batman should just kill the Joker instead of following his no killing rule (which Batman has broken, and even used a gun once if I remember correctly).

Just because she is up in age doesn't mean she's incapable of doing her job. Noam Chomsky is at the door of 90 and his mind is still sharper than that of most 20 year olds.
If she wants to retire, she'll do that. If she wants to stay on but take time to get well, that's her right.
RBG has three f*cking broken ribs, she is certainly not in a "sharp" state at the moment, and at her age, said injury will hit far harder than a 20-year old's.

The Notorius RBG! She will go down in history as one of the most BAMF people ever in the US government.

Please explain to me what physical ailments have to do with one's ability to do an intellectual job.

Bone fractures are no joke when you're in your 80's. While yeah that alone won't kill her she pretty much has a foot in the grave at this point, she needs to retire and spend a couple years in peace.

If you are seriously insinuating that one can think straight when it near-constant pain (because it ain't one, but three broken ribs dangling in your chest), you are goddamn delusional.
She's 85, not fucking 20. She's far less capable of withstanding pain and injuries at this age.
