Except that one's willingness is documented on tape along with the sex act, while prostitution's is not. In a way that makes it more ethical than non-recorded sex, casual or monogamous, paid or unpaid, since they can no longer conflate it with rape like they can with prostitution.

As for the shooting, surely everyone who uses "virgin" or "can't get laid" as cheap shots against every idea one doesn't like has a share of the blame too? "Can't get laid" on its own might not have been too much of a problem if one had any reason to believe people otherwise respected them. In my case, the fact that I know I'm held back by sex only by fear of the risks, not unattractiveness, makes me look down on all those who look down on me. I can see how someone less resilient than me in the face of that might've snapped.
