Worry not, I do it to everyone from a blue state.

I mean, the Red States are closer to being "Iran", given the pseudo-theocracy that's going on in the Bible Belt, for one. There's a lot of things to accuse the Blue States of, but being a Theocracy is not one of them.

I didn't mean that in particular, I just make fun of blue states.

pssst. Forcing other people to abide by your moral code is bad, rather you discuss that moral code at a mosque or a Starbucks.

Well we added a few bricks to the top of the Senate breakwater, so it's allright.

If you look at House Seats, Dems are slated to be in a best case scenerio for the House. D+36-ish, iirc.

Florida just restored the rights of 1.4 million disenfranchised people. Not all of them will vote and some of them will vote for Republicans, but more of them will vote Democratic and a few ten thousand votes was all it would have taken for the governor and Senate races to have had a different outcome. A lot of Republican Senators will be defending their seats in 2020. And the 2020 election will have much higher turnout because it's a Presidential year. And on top of all that, it's 2 more years for Trump's working class fans to realize that their lives haven't gotten any better. The stage is set for 2020.

I'm reminded of something I saw on Twitter earlier. The Tweets were about debating the alt-right, but the general point was "Why should we take advice from our opponents about how to beat them?" The very high IQ pop culture reference supporting this point was Scary Terry from Rick And Morty. Guy kept saying "You can run, but you can't hide, bitch", and in the end, Rick And Morty beat him by hiding.

"Yeah, well why are we taking this guy's advice on anything?"

"You got a really good point there Rick. Like, if the truth was that we could hide? It's not like he'd be sharing that information with us."

Why would Democrats take advice from Republican supporters?

Possibly by putting someone who isn't a meme in a position of authority?

Excuse me? I didn't ask what you think Democrats should do.

And again your assumption is that the people saying this are your enemies who want your downfall at all costs.

I assume nothing more than that Republicans want to win and want Democrats to lose.

It's sunk it. The Blue Wave was nothing but dems blowing smoke about how the entire country hated Trump now that we've had him for two years so they would go blue instead of red. Well here we are, with a slight Democratic majority, a few flipped districts, a Republican Senate in between legislation and the president, and a supreme court justice in the hospital.
