I do think that hypothesis probably has some merit, but we won't know for sure unless some sort of research is made into the matter.

I'm not discounting the possibility of some racism, but I think it had a lot more to do with the FBI stuff and being labeled a socialist.

Or the pollsters got it wrong. You gotta think about the questions they are asking and how they are asking it. It could be possible that people who said they would vote for Gillum didn’t show up or that people who said they’d vote for Gillum actually wanted to vote for desantis but where worried about saying that
