It is if you tick off "independent" on the registration form.

I have the benefit of living in a largely Hispanic state that also lists "Independent" as "sin afiliacion" literally translated, "without affiliation." So no, I assure you I'm not accidentally registered with a far right party. I'm 100% nonpartisan.

And even if I was. It's not as of my registration actually affects the way I vote. If some party is expecting me as a centrist to vote far-right, they're going to be sorely disappointed.

It'll surely be contentious, but I'm not sure if a runoff will happen, but we'll see.

Based off of current polling Kemp isn’t supposed to get more than 49% in order to hold off a runoff he would need at least 50.1%.

And because GA election law states that all races that are within 2% get an automatic recount it’s more then likely that a runoff is happening

Suddenly, on Sunday and Monday. the NY Times and WashPost are telling us that, gasp!, the GOP may actually defeat their polling and hold their own this week,

I think we are bring positioned to prepare again an ebbing of the blue wave.

No, of course it doesn't affect the way you vote. It does affect which candidates are listed tho, since generally parties require a certain number of people in them to list candidates.

I'm sure it will be closer, but I do think Democrats will take the House. If in some event that the Democrats do lose, it should be a wake up call for them, which will lead them to unite, or further divide them.

Probably not. A run off is in more of Kemp’s favor

I want to point out how much we should rage that 2 out of the last 3 presidents have screwed up the English language in dramatic fashion and made their fuckups trend across society until it became common usage.

I'm not sure about this. This seems like more fear mongering than fact. I havnt heard of anyone being turned away that registered and have a photo ID except in a couple states where the secretary of state was an arse

I'm not sure it's fear mongering. My wife was about turned away from the polls when she first moved back to the US, because she has a notable accent.

If it weren't for the progressively getting angrier white guy standing behind her, they might have illegally denied her the right to vote.

Hasn't happened after the first time though.

IIRC, it wasn't exactly because of my accent (which mind you, yes, I do have a bit of one). It was because I failed to code-switch and gave the woman my date of birth, but in Spanish format (day/month/year), instead of in English format (month/date/year). That caused her to look at me like I was some sort of illegal alien bug or something.

Well, I've made the list of all the districts considered to possibly be in contention Tomorrow, though some of them I don't see why they're on they're...those are the districts I'll be calling as well as the Senate and Governor's races and the ballot initiatives for as long as I can endure it.
