That being said, it will be interesting to see what the Democrats will do with their House Majority. The vengeful side of me wants them to haul every member of this administration into committee, rake them over the coals, and set up investigations into every nook and cranny in government, just as the GOP did after 2010.
But I have to wonder if that is the best strategy politically. It did not truly pay dividends to the GOP. They made themselves look foolish over Benghazi and their obstructionism was not really popular. Going that hard on Trump might rally his die hards around him even more.

Keep in mind about Florida that last night we also passed Amendment 4, which restores the voting rights of convicted felons at the end of their sentence. That's hundreds of thousands of people who can now vote in 2020. Of course, some of them still won't vote, and some will vote Republican, but I bet a strong majority go Democrat. Think of all the people who have their lives ruined by a trumped up drug possession charge - they certainly don't look favorably on the Republican Party. Nor do people of color (and many white people as well) who have had their voting rights repressed for decades under a Republican held Florida.

In fact, I think if all of those people could have had their rights restored sooner, Gillum and Nelson would have won. And on top of that, there are lots of 16 and 17 year olds who will turn 18 before 2020, and right now it's a political climate where people are motivated to vote, and Democrats still hold an advantage among young adults.
