Should I not wear a John Deere hat because I don’t work for the company or have never bought any of their products?
I would say No in a qualified sense, in the sense that I personally wouldn't have a problem with it since I personally have no preconceived notions about "John Deere." I had no idea it was a company of any kind until today.
Now that I know, I'm still not all that concerned because it doesn't come across as very prestigious. Its not like "Harvard" or "NASA."
I have lived in Canada, but I'm not in the business of buying tractors you know? So why would I know what John Deere is?
In fact... how do you know?
are you involved in the tractor business?

It’s a name synonymous with tractors. If you asked the average person to name a company that makes them they would likely say John Deere. It’s synonymous with tractors like Apple is to computers or Sony or Samsung is too electronics

I find that very hard to believe as they are one of the largest and most well known tractor abnd agricultural equipment companies in the world. My grandfather had a John Deere rideon lawnmower.
Why should I not wear a John Deere or Harvard cap?

Then let me ask you Lumen (and no Googling or looking up or asking)
“Staedtler”
“Strathmore”
What do they make?
