Of all the people I've ever seen wear John Deere anything, I've been fairly certain they at least know what John Deere is - even if they don't work there or have friends who work there.

if you ask me right now, "name 5 companies that make casual T shirts as one of their main selling points" I would literally have to think about it very very hard while others could immediately throw out 10 names...

I find that very hard to believe considering their products are sold all over the world including Canada. It was already explained to you it’s a company that builds tractors.

Should I not wear a John Deere hat because I don’t work for the company or have never bought any of their products?

I would say No in a qualified sense, in the sense that I personally wouldn't have a problem with it since I personally have no preconceived notions about "John Deere." I had no idea it was a company of any kind until today.

Now that I know, I'm still not all that concerned because it doesn't come across as very prestigious. Its not like "Harvard" or "NASA."

I have lived in Canada, but I'm not in the business of buying tractors you know? So why would I know what John Deere is?
