The US lol Trump has yet to execute dissidents and minorities.

Authoritarianism is a form of government characterised by strong central power and limited political freedoms. Totalitarianism is just that dialled to 11. Authoritarianism and Totalitarianism are fruits of the same tree. Fascists are authoritarian, to an enormous degree.

Fascists harken back to a glorious past, despise feminism and want to see women being housewives. They literally want to return to a period when the country was great. If that is not conservative, I don't know what is. Yeah, sure, they want to build the country from the ground up, but only to achieve those socially conservative goals.

Trump is still confined by the bounds of the constitution. His government cannot be radical right-wing due to the checks and balances of the office.

Shockingly enough, those statements are neither contradictory nor mutually exclusive. You, right now, can be a Nazi-sympathizing Vichyist without Jair Bolsonaro being the literal Brazilian reincarnation of Adolf Hitler.

I know logic's a hard thing to comprehend, but please do try.

This is the funniest part -- modern liberals would call the views of mainstream conservatives of 1930s-1980s like Churchill and de Gaulle as "fascist" if they would be around today. Why did WW2 even happen according to liberals? Must have been a dinner disagreement gone wrong...

That sort of conflicts with conservative orthodoxy, as you might imagine.
