at this point it feel like such a hoax probably set up by some large organization in order to produce fear before the midterms, at this point it doesn't make much sense to me that that somebody would be able to make a bomb and then be so incompetent at the end.Like i mean its not possible that someone would do this 9 times each one fails and still try this clearly just an attempt to generate fear and disunity before the elections.and the worst part is that we know this and we cant fo anything because we cant do anything.at the end of the day this really is a waste of time and shows in my opinion how idiotic and failures are the radical organizations of America.

Actual working reliable bombs are fairly hard to make and for reasonably self evident reasons, it's rather hard for most people to find out how and get the materials needed to do so. Mail bombs even more so because it's got to be stable enough not to go bang when it's going through the post but will reliably go off when someone opens it. It's equally likely that the bombs were recognised as weird packages and called in before being opened. Perhaps they would have gone off if they'd been opened?

It seems quite likely in this case that someone would make a batch of crap bombs in their basement or garage and mail them out to people. It's usually best to assume the most likely explanation is true before making far reaching statements about hoaxes or large organisations behind it. This'll likely be some dipshit with a grudge against Trump critics.

It could well be some alt right type thinking this is "making memes". I talked once with a trump supporter who interpreted everything Trump did as a meme which meant that he was always being satirical even if offensive.

Basically the majority of Trump supporters are idiots or unpredictable so may have done this badly to kill people or wanted to just freak people out. That said, it's not impossible that some left wing loon did this. I agree it's unlikely and many of the people suggesting this wouldn't care if those bombs went off but the chances of it being true are above 0.

I mean the big problem with that if it was, it would in a general sense reflect poorly on the election so I doubt there would be any serious candidate that has the capacity to understand election fallout. As few things are more morbid than then electoral terrorism.

To be fair, they were asking for it. Why else would they have a house with a mailbox? They knew what they were getting into.
