So there are plenty of reasons for why someone would want to bomb Obama, the Clintons, or both by definition. I suspect that someone too pissed off about the ACA, would go after Obama.

I only find it hard to believe that someone on the right or right leaning would do this so close to the midterm elections. Given recent information they'd only have everything to lose and nothing to gain from it, even if successful. The timing is also convenient.

Obama is to blame for the ACA for the most part, so the motive for revenge with regards to him is clear. His dumb law only destroyed the private health insurance market in all the wrong ways. It had the net effect of increasing access to health insurance but not facilitating its affordability. The only people who benefit are the people who can use Medicaid. All the people who previously had cheaper insurance saw their rates go way up.

What else do you think is going to happen if you force private health insurers to take people with pre-existing conditions and require health insurance plans to cover certain things that a lot of people don't want to pay for? The outcome of course, is that health insurance premiums soar in order to pay for the extra burdens and costs of providing health care to people.

Obama didn't even go all the way, which is to destroy private healthcare entirely with a single payer system.

Which would've been far better if he did.

Nonetheless, I must confess myself unsurprised that you seem entirely sympathetic to the perpetrators here.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio called attempted attacks on CNN and top Democrats, including Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, "an act of terror".
