I would think you would know the obvious answer is "fundamentalist conservative". That fact combined with the tone of your post indicates you consider such a label to be an insult. But from what I've seen, you've done everything in your ability to earn the title. Seems like you would be proud to be called that, rather than insulted. If it does insult you, then I would recommend you reevaluate your positions on social issues.

A notable example for me can be found very close: My own family.

We're not religious nor practicing, but we effectively act as one cohesive unit, and I owe them infinite respect.

Masons were extremely popular in several places, if your ancestors were professionals and/or upper-middle classin the past, they were probably masons at some point or another.
