Amazing how it's blasted over American airwaves, and every Thanksgiving weekend, people get injured or die for those cheap TVs and stuff.

And it's not "your local retailer". It's pretty much tv, radio, and internet blasting it out at everyone from all retailers -- SPEND SPEND SPEND. And all the news and politicians talk about is how sales were good for the economy, and not the consequences of purposefully limiting the supply of shit so people assault each other over it.

Starting a football game with a prayer does not a Christian nation make. I would also say that it was not a Christian nation back when Christian could be used to mean neighborly, or are you going to ignore how non-whites where treated?

When a single religion is found to prominent in nearly all social gatherings ( such as football ) games, I think that that's a pretty good indication of said faith's national supremacy. And nothing of what I said had anything to do with race. Even during that time, non-whites were also overwhelmingly Christian.

As an irreligious person, we are a Christian nation. Throughout history our country has been led by primarily Christians, our laws are established with Christian doctrine in mind, most of our people are Christian. This has been changing in recent years but I would still argue that, for the time being, we are a Christian nation - although that is not necessarily a bad thing.
