Couldn't help but notice those 4 islands right in the bullseye of that storm's path. Tropical Storm Willa is expected to hit that archipelago dead-on, as a full-blown hurricane, the day after it downgrades from being a major hurricane.
Luckily, they have 4 days' notice to do so. I presume that is adequate time to gather one's most valuable belongings and get on a boat or flight to the shore?
I'm thinking they should evacuate. An inland hurricane is one thing; you can avoid the worst of the flooding, albeit not the wind, by going to higher ground. But being trapped on a small island during a hurricane sounds like a much more dire scenario.
