Hell, both mine went in when they had their full set of baby teeth to check and make sure things were ok. Even baby teeth can get cavities and do need cleaning.

No. As you start solids they are still getting most of their nutrition from the milk.

It also changes from kid to kid. My brother was lactose intolerant followed by a severe bout of gastroenteritis that nearly killed him.

He was still taking soy milk formula bottles at age 4 for some meals because he had a fear of unfamiliar foods and drinks and he needed to eat.

You can read all you want about what *can* rot teeth, or when a baby should be weaned, but only the kid's pediatrician (or dentist, in the case of teeth specifically) would know if the kid is suffering ill effects from not being weaned. The "12 months" rule is largely arbitrary. Some need weaning sooner, some can still be feeding later with proper care.

I mean I am all for breastfeeding an infant, and as mentioned on a plane flight it's a good idea. But i am not seeing how that's good for the kid at that age. It's bad for the kids teeth. It encourages too much dependence on the mother.
