No. As you start solids they are still getting most of their nutrition from the milk.

It also changes from kid to kid. My brother was lactose intolerant followed by a severe bout of gastroenteritis that nearly killed him.

He was still taking soy milk formula bottles at age 4 for some meals because he had a fear of unfamiliar foods and drinks and he needed to eat.

Yes as you start, but by age 3 the child should be fully on solids...

Yeah that shows Ethel for diagnosing this child with tooth decay. I guess? Only a doctor could say if the kid was suffering the ill effects of smoking but you don't exactly need to be a professional to say "well that's a problem."

"It's up to the doctors responsible for the child's care to determine if a natural means of providing primary and/or supplementary nutrition is causing harm after the arbitrary time at which it is normal to stop using that method."

"Oh, you sure showed him! Only a doctor can say if inhaling poison is having a negative effect, but giving your child an inhaled poison is a bad idea!"

What is "a non-sequitur"?

Shockingly, we *do* use NS stats, with the exception of lifespan.

The World Health Organization recommends exclusive breastfeeding (i.e. no other fluids or solids) for six months and then continued breastfeeding combined with solid foods for 2 years or as long as mother and baby desire.

If it fits, it ships.

Within reason though. There is a point when it definitely starts to get weird.

If that one joke from Grown Ups is anything to go by, it's at about 48 months.

Though probably way way sooner.

You started this by challenging Ethel's statement that continued breastfeeding is bad for the teeth by saying "are you a pediatrician" and following it up with "only a doctor can say if it's doing damage." The thing you said had no real relationship to the thing they said.
