Who smokes Marijuana?

As an American I can not legally smoke or consume Marijuana and recently have taken the view point to legalize Marijuana. I also have become interested in the topic itself like types, ways to smoke, and effects.

Anyone know anything about this?

It's just like every other intoxicant you jam into your body, in that it is in fact bad for you. (IN before NO POT IS GREAT FOR YOU)
Personally, I've never had any inclination towards anything other than the occassional alcoholic drink. Frankly, I'm not sure how I feel about its legalization.

I enjoy it infrequently, perhaps once every other month, if that. Personally, I don't find the effects to be as pleasant to me as alcohol and tobacco, but it's fun ever once in a while.

There are only a few good dealers in the area where I come from, and even then you can only trust them to sell you decent weed, you will die if you get anything else.

Agreed; really, pot is one of the least dangerous drugs known to man-kind; marijuana itself cannot kill you; not the same as either alcohol or tobacco, both of which claim thousands of lives each year just from using the substance.

Because not all drugs are created equal? Prozac is legal, so LSD should be legal too, right? It's the same logical argument. Which is to say it's equally wrong.

I go to the fastest growing university in England, and 95% of the undergrads smoke weed. It is a major teaching training school, and has trained some of the most popular forensic scientists. Do not judge people by petty things.

Hippies can be fun and outrageous. All the potheads I know are good people, and have proper jobs and an education.

The best anecdotes I've ever heard have come from potheads.

My only objection being that Cannabis is a Plant, not a Drug. "Drugs" are artificially changed in some way or another.

Maybe the ones you've met, but the ones at my school are total dicks. They're not fun, they're not outrageous, and they aren't cool. They act like they're cool, but they do nothing all day. Just sit there like a lump.

It's more like saying: "If LSD is were legal, Prozac should be legal, too" since booze is far damaging to oneself, and those around, than pot is. And when I say booze, I'm not talking weak beer, here, I'm talking the stuff I consume: hard liquor, a real man's drink.
