Pineapple on pizza, groovy or gross?

I personally don't like pineapple on pizza, but I don't really give a shit about what others eat. So long as they're not having people as a pizza topping, I don't care if you have banana as a topping on your pizza, or hell, rotten fish as a topping. But I'll stick with good ol' pepperoni and cheese.

I've never had good Fish and Chips in America, I've only been to Briton once and the ones I had there were decent enough. Probably the best Fish and Chips I had were in a pub in Bloemfontein on a trip home a few years back.

The problem with fish and chips is that it's rare to find good fish and good chips.. where we had plenty of proper cod, hake or haddock more often than not it's cheap alternatives because we've done a grand job depleting the seas. The issue with chips is that potato is so mass produced the flavour has all but disappeared - to eat a true potato is almost a surprise in that it has real taste other than being a bland blob.

It's the same with corn. The regular yellow mutant we more often eat tastes nothing like the real thing. For that, you have to go to South America or be lucky enough to go to a South American restaurant that serves authentic ''choclo''.

Pineapple and ham is a good combination for Pizza, I like it. It is not my first choice for Pizza however. There are other types of Pizza I prefer far more.
I like just Pepperoni the best, a supreme, vegetarian, or meat lovers is fine as well.

Eh, there are a lot of regional varieties of pizza. Sfincione has a very thick, bready "crust". There are also some version in Italy proper with thicker crust. The more well-known neopolitan and margaritta pizzas are not the be-all end-all of true Italian pizza.

There are all sorts of things to not like about Italian Pizza. They skimp on all of the major ingredients (asides from bread). Not enough tomato sauce, not enough cheese, and not enough toppings or grease is used.

This is partially why Italians are so thin, they know their cuisine is bad for them in some respects, and purposefully eat significantly smaller serving sizes and choose a reduced ratio of Carbohydrate ingredients with regards to meals. If Italian cuisine is consumed daily like Americans make Italian cuisine, a lot of Italians would become obese.
