Oppressing their citizens to an almost comical degree, sponsoring terrorism, creating one of the world's worst humanitarian crises in Yemen, I'm sure everyone could go on ad nauseum- but really, it's not that hard to figure out if you think about it for two fucking seconds lol

Saudi Arabia is an enemy of western civilization that has been at war with us since I was a child, and the traitors in our government who collude with it should be investigated for treason and an example made of them to terrify future elites into line. They think that because it involves money and makes people rich they're allowed to do it, and need to be reminded that financial interests and corruption, though sadly tolerated, can never be tolerated when it involves aiding and abetting enemies of the country. They need to be reminded that they cannot make money from waging war against their own people.

There is an out of control trolley speeding towards Jeremy Bentham, who is tied to the track. You can pull the lever to cause the trolley to switch tracks, but on the other track is Immanuel Kant. Bentham is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Critique of Pure Reason. Kant is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Principles of Moral Legislation. Both men are shouting at you that they have recently started to reconsider their ethical stances.

I think I’ll wait for more information before supporting a embargo. I don’t want to be the chap that embargo’s a nation for no good reason.

I've long suspected the Saudis of being a dangerous regime. This has confirmed my worst fears of the Saudi royal family and their totalitarian theocracy. Even moderates are not acceptable within their midst to the point of possibly killing a journalist for criticism anything about their theocracy.

As a Filipino who can still remember a certain massacre perpetrated upon our shores, upon our people including journalists, by hirelings of a political clan, all of nine years ago -- this endorsement of coldblooded murder of journalists... you cannot fathom how this makes me feel. You cannot.

I don't even know why the US sides with these theocrats who fund terrorism. As in Osama bin Laden got his money for terrorism from his father's Saudi based oil contracting construction company. How can they justify siding with a country that literally funded 9/11 through their oil/construction businesses.

I think it's more geopolitical military base stuff myself given the US is more prone to consuming Venezuelan, Mexican, American, or Canadian oil products. Why buy oil from Saudis when the boys in Alberta or Texas are closer?

The Middle East wasn't really a factor till 1979, when Iran up and booted the Shah. It's really just the oil at this point, for an ally who can buy?

Oh hey, you approve of murdering journalists.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be proof of a pan-Islamic plot and Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand, crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of mentally ill lone wolves who do not represent their professed belief system at all.
The probability of someone secretly participating in homosexual acts is directly proportional to the frequency and loudness of their publicly professed disapproval and/or disgust for homosexuality.
If Donald Trump accuses an individual of malfeasance without evidence, it is almost a certainty either he or someone associated with him has in fact committed that very same malfeasance to a greater degree.
