I would not put up the promise to throw a party as the stakes of a bet. If I was going to throw a party I would not do so on a farm. I would not be angry if someone tricked me into stepping into mud. I wouldn't care if someone wanted to take a picture of me having stepped in mud. My friends would not really find me stepping in mud so hilarious that they'd all crowd around to laugh at me. Nor would they laugh at someone falling entirely into mud from some height until they were sure the person wasn't hurt, and there would be no question that a person covered in mud would be offered the use of a shower and a change of clothes.

The following hypothetical scenario invites a number of moral considerations and various courses of action to be considered; it’s a bit long-winded but I guarantee you there is a very serious discussion point at the end of it all...

That was an absurd, over-dramatic mess. I don't know why the girl's name has to be "Felicié", or why her hair has to be red, or why everyone is screaming and overacting. Do you write erotica? All the little details were so bizarrely specific, I was really expecting the whole thing to devolve into an orgy.

Anyway, I let her use the shower. Apparently all my friends are assholes, so I don't associate with them again.

I just find it extremely funny for some reason that you called Felicie a Quebecois girl. I mean, you’re probably right in that it would make sense. The setting is Canadian and a lot of French name people should have ties to Quebec.

i think you’re right. She will come from Quebec, British isles-french ancestry to make the red hair and Caucasian look work. She speaks English in the thread though (however, she knows French too). Probably from Montreal studying in BC.

I feel obligated to offer her the minimum necessary to wash off the filth, and an alternative outfit to wear until she can change in to something more suitable. Now, I am a big fan of the Miesian phrase "less is more", and minimalism in general, and there is nothing more minimal than handing her the garden hose to wash herself and offering her an old potato sack to wear.
