The reality is simple the left and more mild left parties have ruled over Brazil for far too long and they seem to fail at tackling some basic problems that been plaguing the nation for decades.

It is time the rabid left is halted and something new takes hold, so Bolsonaro for the win!

Na minha opinião, acho que haverá um segundo turno muito disputado. Tipo, 50% contra 49% de um candidato X e Y.
In my opinion, I think there will be a second round very disputed. Like, 50% versus 49% of a candidate X and Y.
Edit: no entanto, posso dizer que Bolsonaro é o mais provável a ser presidente.
Edit: However, I can say that Bolsonaro is the most likely to be president.

And the rest of Bolsonaro's platforms are mostly bad for all but the economy.

Not the ones I care about, or those that apparently the average Brazilian voter cares about.

This might shock you, but somebody who works in a factory, has a child or two and has to live with crime as a fact of daily life along with stagnation in their personal financial situation is really unlikely to give a shit about whether LGBT people are abused on Twitter by candidates or not.

I didn't say any of what you bring up in that last few lines.
Even so, I'm not all that sure hardline economic nationalism will bring plenty to the nation.
