In my opinion, in case of Bolsonaro's victory, he will have more support in his reforms, because even with the neutrality of the majority of the center, some are in favor of some of his proposals. The same goes for Haddad, but on a smaller scale.

Na minha opinião, em caso de vitória de Bolsonaro, ele terá mais suporte em suas reformas, pois mesmo com a neutralidade da maioria do centro, alguns são a favor de algumas propostas dele. O mesmo vale para o Haddad, mas em menor escala.

They're just all talk and no action. People always get too excited or agitated, that happens. It doesn't mean there's a real danger.

By "attacking", I meant physically assaulting. There have been murders, attempted murders, beatings, death and rape threats.

So no, they aren't just talk. And I for one hope my Brazilian comrades are getting armed to defend themselves from these rabid fuckers.

Nah, I don't think most Brazilians have access to the guns. The criminal gangs might start their own guerrilla groups against the new government. If the more radical left-oriented factions decide to arm themselves against the potential new Bolsonaro government, then a civil war might start. But I expect a period full of turmoil for Brazil. Much like Argentina in the 1970s..

But I don't think advocating violence and calling for an armed struggle will help to the best. It will in fact make the Bolsonaro supporters and the Right feel more threatened. So you are encouraging a bloody civil war. But I think Bolsonaro represents a threat to the Amazon and most Brazilians
