the issue is more about belief than source. moral authority only exists when people believe that authority exists whether it is the roman catholic church or the mighty Favog . if you dont believe in the authority, the defiance of it just seems ... so much lesser.

Not that it really matters, because this whole thing was a PR stunt about a piece of legislation that has no material effect on the lives of the Irish people, so that the government could appear #progressive.

yeah that is true, but when i said its gone, i meant that "its on its way out, its done", they just need to get around to it now with the legal work.
