One time when I was like six years old I stole a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup from a Wawa. Not like a packet or anything, just one little one. I still feel bad about it.

While drinking a soda many years ago, a wasp came to investigate and somehow got itself into the drink.

I didn't notice.

After a rapid sequence of confusion, sharp pain, some sputtering, a lot of terror, and a quick stomp (In front of hundreds of people by the way), I had a swelling bite on my lower lip and a puddle of soda with a crushed wasp in it at my feet.

I do everything to eat and drink indoors to this day.

That relied on a bunch of people breaking out of the simulation first. And besides in the case of the Matrix, can you really say you’d rather live in post apocalyptic nightmare land then a normal life?

I remember that I was using a toilet at work and I blocked it, accidentally of course. I flushed the toilet, and the water overflowed out of the toilet and all over the floor, and flowed rapidly across the floor into the next toilet cubicle, which was occupied at the time. I heard a mad scrambling as the guy in there tried to avoid the torrent of shitty water. I ran.

One time I accidentally clogged the toilet at my house and it overflowed, and I had to clean the floor. Fortunately, the water was relatively clear.

When i was in my final year at uni me and a friend of mine rebecca were taking photographs of our print work for our portfolios, and i suggested we use a table like i had the day before hand to hang the work up on the table once it was on its side in front of the window so it had some natural light coming in so that the photos would look better.

I forgot what table i used, and pointed at a larger one with a different leg design and said "yeah that one!" and when we lifted it up on its side the metal clamp holding the legs snapped with a deafening crack in the space we were in and we just stood there looking at one another with these stupid expressions on our face holding this broken table. Thankfully no one was around so we just carried it back into the student area in a panick, propped it on a seat to make it look like the legs were still upright and walked away giggling like fucking morons.

Came in the next day and there was a sign on the table saying "caution broken table" and i just tried not to laugh.

Spring break in Mexico I landed in jail. My friend was accused of drunkenly using a fire extinguisher in a run down hotel by the beach, and we all got fucked (we don't know whether my friend used it or not, he denies it, but still). Buddies and I couldn't cough up enough cash for hotel security, so the cops came and had us sit in a disgusting cell for a few hours before my friend's uncle bribed us out.

Cops were sorta nice, they may have been maliciously extorting us for bribe money in all likelihood, but they did give us free cigarettes.

Still, when I tell this story at parties, I remember to make it sound a little more badass, as opposed to the truth which is that my buddies and I basically were thrown in a cell so the cops could make some cash, not because we were "partying too hard" or any bullshit like that.

That's the difference between the developing world and developed world, I suppose. Once I got back to the States, I read that cops in Mexico (Sonora, at least) are paid so little that they often have to fuck with tourists a little to get some extra bribe money. It's scummy, but in a way, I can't blame them.

The show started eight years ago, though. That's effectively a lot of people's childhoods that they stopped caring about when they were 14.
