I think Charlie Adam should win POTY and Hernandez win YPOTY, much as I'd like Nasri to win both. Once "The World's Greatest" doesn't win I'll be happy.

Agreed regarding Chicharito. He's got tremendous a tremendous ability to be in the right place at the right time and has a nose for the goal. Reminds me a bit of a younger Miroslav Klose (when he suits up for Germany, not for Bayern).

Surprised Nani isn't in contention for the main title. And one could argue that Carroll could have been on the shortlist for the young one, but I suppose he's been out of form for too long to let him qualify.

It's voted for by other players so I'm wasn't too surprised Nani was left out, I wouldn't imagine he has too many fans outside of his team

Anyway, out-played on all parts of the pitch if I'm honest - although the referee, once again was shocking. The lino was obviously an Arsenal fan too...

I've gotta say even as an Arsenal fan at the match, I felt the ref had a shocker as well. All in all though, it was a good match, and I throughely enjoyed Bloomfield road.

Good atmosphere wasn't it, especially at the start... You sorta' demoralised us though when you scored.

I'd be mighty suprised if Liverpool can get a result tonight, considering city have one of the best defences in the league and our attack strategy seems to be the Stoke method of just 'pump high balls into the box, one of them has to work'. For the sake of redeeming my fantasy football I need Meireles and Suarez to score aswell

Shame that City are absolutely sh!te tonight. (Maybe they're more focussed on Saturday's SF against Man U than Liverpool tonight.)
Please note that Mid Lothian is based on fantasy. Any references to anything/one/where that exists is completely coincidential.
Frequently used abbreviations: HoS = Head of State; HoG = Head of Government; ML = Mid Lothian; KSS - Kate Stephens-Smith.
Fancy an embassy in ML? Click me for details. (PS - I'll return the favour.)
I am usually rewriting stuff about Mid Lothian - just because it's true today isn't necessarily true tomorrow.

Warning - Full-time Grammar Nazi at work. You have been warned. (I guess that's due to my mum being an English teacher. Also, don't use masculine words to describe me - my name is Rebecca, which is clearly a feminine name.)

They can focus all they want. Not gonna let the noisy neighbours get any silverware if we can avoid it.

Particularly in the absence of Tevez. The watch will be fucking tedious though; Mancini will pack the midfield, park the bus and play for penalties no doubt.

To the number 4 spot? Quite possibly. They're only three points out and they've got one game more to play than does Man City. That being said I could easily picture Mancini playing for 0-0 scorelines or trying to etch out as cautious of victories as possible just to try to keep that fourth spot. It's personal for him, I imagine - hard to picture him back at City if they don't make the Champions League.
