I didn't get a chance to see Liverpool beat Man U - I saw the score line, and saw that Kuyt bagged himself a hat trick. Did ManU just have an awful time on defense or was Liverpool looking that good?

Both in my opinion, Suarez and Meireles gave United a torrid time of it - but the United defenders had a shocker. As did every player on the United team to be honest. Nani crying... Aha, that made me laugh.

Meh, Arsenal drawing takes the sting away a little, as does Liverpool's position, but it's still a very poor result for United, despite missing Rio and Vidic.

You enjoy laughing at football players being injured? You disgust me.

Fair play to the scousers today though, I thought we looked pretty good until the first goal but after that I just couldn't see us scoring.

Carragher is still a twat though.

just read the bbc report...can't see any vid out here sadly...sounds like you guys really need Vidic badly (that and he's playing out of his skin by all accounts)...

re tackle...not seen it obv but if its a strong tackle and not an out and out leg breaker I fail to see the issue...and its not like Manc players are all goodness and light (Keane v Haaland for example)...and well Nani always looks like he's about to bawl his eyes out...

and what the fuck the hubcaps...talk about rescuing their season? why the fuck they didn't get Daglish in to start with instead of humiliating Papa Roy I will never understand...

We do. We really fucking do. If he doesn't get the PFA player of the year award then it's a fucking travesty.

Wait until you see it. Sliding, foot up, studs exposed, well over the ball and straight to the knee. Not pretty at all.

It was bad enough that Nani, the ultimate pussy, hopped over to try and have a go at him before he collapsed and was carried off.

The scousers enjoy being laughed at. It's the only sensible reason I can think of.

I think he's (Vidic) is a favourite to win the writers award at the very least...the only other player I can think of who can 'beat' Vidic is Bale...its a close run thing...but it would be nice to see a defender get the PFA award even if it is a Manc to be honest.

Re Nani...yeah that kind of tackle I am not a fan of...I like hard crunching tackles but not studs up...having said that though the idea of Nani trying to be hard would result with me on the floor laughing my arse off LOL

re hubcaps...as good a theory as any other...

I can't praise Vidic enough this season. He's been brilliant for us and probably the main reason we're currently top of the league.

The Caragher tackle was the kind I'd condemn whoever made it. It was just nasty and watching Gerrard pushing the injured Nani to the ground wasn't nice either.

Oh Nani, another of those damned Iberian pretty boys. Never like to see anyone take a studs-up tackle, though, hope he'll be alright. A bit of a bruise wouldn't bother me any, though :P If I'm Fergie, I wouldn't sweat a loss like that one bit, not with the Arse looking terrible against Sunderland.

In other news, that Colombian wanker who kicked the opposing team's mascot owl got what effectively amounted to a slap on the wrist, and with surprisingly little outrage. I can only imagine the shitstorm that would follow if someone in the Premier League booted a live owl off the pitch.

Man, I've actually gone to the effort of recording the tackle and aftermath on my phone so you could see it and now there is an internet fault with my network and I can't upload it.

Because Argentina doesn't have any animal cruelty laws that they can actually punish him with.

Wolves were the better team generally during the match yesterday. They were just going forward at any opportunity and not letting Tottenham play how they wanted.

Nani went down crying, then got up long enough to yell at the ref, then went down crying again.

Weasels like him give our game a bad name and make it hard for the code to get a foothold in places like here. No sympathy from me.

Yes.

Unless of course it's not OK for a woman to ask for a female to ask for a female officer to carry out body checks. In which case, the answer would be no.

yeah for a small club they are definitely doing very well indeed...no doubt about that...I'm just annoyed that despite scoring more goals in the league than anyone else we are still leakier that Baldricks kegs on a night out with an alcoholic mongoose and a pair of drugged up meerkats in heat.

I'm hoping that a Welsh team makes it to the Premier League for the first time.
