As soon as they get an opponent that puts some effort into interrupting the build-up from the back into those attacks they might be totally helpless, for all we know.

Me too... It should have been yellow - but that wouldn't have made any difference in the game. Germans killed the game before Half Time.

True. Serbia should provide a much stronger defence and could be capable of holding back the Germans.

Those quick, diagonal passes are hard to deal with for any defense though. Best thing the Germans did.

I reckon the Serbs just need to press much earlier and not let the Germans to a position where they can put through the combinations around the penalty area. We'll see.

Other than the play acting by several German players (who deservedly got yellows for it), a good result. A shame for Australia though, this now screwed their goal difference, and so effectively they must win on points, ie beat Serbia and Ghana. Probably too much for them.

I'm blinded by rage from 2006 still... those cheating italians! It was very clumsy and..... he probably did act without thinking sticking his foot back out there.. and that was a bad risk to take. Yellow card as long as it wasn't intentional after looking at it a few more times, I dont think it was.

Aye. I picked Germany for the win on Saturday though...defeating England.

A lot of key matches havent been played, correct. If Cameroon beats Japan and Ivory Coast beats Portugal, things get very interesting.
