Pats played anything but fair. Over half the calls on the Chiefs where completely bullshit.

Ya know I hope that the new pro-football leagues do well. The NFL needs a reality check.

The refball this season is probably going to be mentioned by someone, I think the current problem is the power of the NFL is in the hands of too few people who have been in power for far too long. Meanwhile incompetent buffoons (Goodell) sit on their hands and claim the pins and needles in their hands are progress.

He really, really does not stop talking about Brady. Neither does Joe Buck or Troy Aikman. Once again, I think the network pays them to say certain things. And I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but it IS TV.

All I ever hear from these announcers is that Brady is the greatest, and I just wish they'd shut up about him for once, because let's be honest, he is not that great.

I mean, because people like Brady, they just want to glorify him. Not that he isn't a great player, but you'd think that they have something else to talk about.

It's like how the networks treated Joe Namath after SB III.

He is pretty awesome, but the thing is the league has a lot of other exciting players as well. Of course people like Drew Brees, Patrick Mahomes, and Jared Goff, but also non-QBs who are making waves in their positions. The Khalil Mack’s and the Aaron Donald’s. The Saquon Barkley’s and the Alvin Kamara’s. But marketing probably plays a role in why Brady gets so much attention, aside from his many SB rings.

If Andy Reid would organize his safeties and corners more, and not rely on the beautiful existence of Eric Berry for everything, they would have been a lot better coming into this game. As for the Rams, I do have faith in Donald, but the safeties and corners for them also have to step up...and not get stupid PI calls. Because between the Pats and the Rams...the league already probably has a favorite to win, and it’s not the Rams. They’re gonna get the treatment the refs gave the Saints, which means they need to keep the game from being close at all.

The only chanced the Rams D has is to send three players to cover Gronk, and the other eight to blitz Brady on, like, every play.

Brady isn't intimidated enough by pressure to warrant blitzing that hard. Realistically the only way to do that is to have an unstoppable front 4 (or 5 if you bring in a linebacker) break through the middle or outrun the tackles and nail the QB before he has a chance to throw.

Which is impossible against Brady because of course it is.

What does this man have to do earn anyone's respect here. The man has literally done the impossible countless times, and yet people STILL count Tom Brady out. I find it sad that so many people could possibly find themselves blaming the refs for a game that was clearly officiated in favor of BOTH sides evenly.

Still pretty fucking despondent about the Chiefs. They haven't been to a Superbowl in decades, if I recall, and played a largely phenomenal game last night. Huge disappointment.

Why does it always have to be about fairness. When in sports are you supposed to let someone else win because you feel bad. In the end, the Chiefs def did NOT do enough to stop Brady in OT. It's as simple as that. They played pretty good, but not good enough evidently.

I never counted Tom Brady out, and I actually mentioned earlier that the game was officiated fairly. Brady is amazing. All I was pointing out was that the NFL uses him as their star and makes a storyline about everything he does. Don’t make him an underdog, he isn’t and never will be.

I could also go back to the 2012 AFC Championship, Ravens walloped him 34-14 at home. Basically the same scheme. That's where Denver looked for an answer. Kubiak was in Baltimore prior to heading off to Broncoland.
