He's a good OC, we had a lot of problems on the offensive side of the ball. That actually sucks for us honestly. Good hire. Rodgers will make a serious run for MVP with him at the helm.

So, it wasn't his fault after all, but rather, a miracle by an Eagle's player.

My ass. Someone maybe grazed it with a fingertip. That's not a block.

You'd be surprised how much something like that can knock a ball off course.

I hope you’re right.

Also, interesting thought: Sean McVay is 32 and already had a coaching tree.

Later next semester... how much a hangnail can actually deflect a football kick will now be taken up in a physics class at the University of Chicago. :p

Wouldn't doubt that, honestly.

And yet, we don't belittle others. We may joke around, but we don't trash property of other fan bases like the fans of several other teams do.

I can't tell who you're defending but if its the Saints stop drinking the kool-aid. Be glad New Orleans is the shithole of the Gulf Coast or else the horrific behavior by Saints fans year in and year out would be far more noteworthy. I hope when Drew Brees retires and Sean Payton fucks off that the Saints go back to being worse than the bucs. This franchise acts with more arrogance than the Patriots I have waited years to snort that sweet karma and comeuppance. It cannot come soon enough.

Yeesh. We haven’t had enough success to be hated more than the Patriots. Not sure what horrific behavior you mean, though yes, occasionally our fans can be mean.

They'd have to quantify the size of the hangnail and factor in the balls angle of trajectory and velocity, but yeah. It's not as tricky as building the first nuclear reactor in history under the football stadium's stands. ;)

Looks like Arizona is getting Kliff Kingsbury as their latest victim. I mean head coach.

And Arians will go to the Bucs. Should make things very interesting over there.

And he'd said he wanted to be head coach in Cleveland. What a clever man.

Do you think he's been involved with underwhelming franchises (AZ, TB, almost CLE) lately because he knows that even moderate success with them will be seen as excellent coaching?

My playoff picks sucked last week, so let's keep it up:

Colts over Chiefs
Pats over Chargers
Cowboys over Rams
Saints over Eagles.

So the Buccaneers sign Bruce Arians as their headcoach and Todd Bowels as their DC. On paper the Bucs went from one of the bottom 5 coaching staffs to a top 12 one. Of course this being the Buccaneers they will somehow manage to fuck this up. Not even in the Famous Jameis Turnover Factory sort of way. I cannot explain how but the Bucs will turn these into horrible hires.

At least the fans who demanded that they hire McCarthy or McDaniels were forced to eat shit.

In other news I await for Colin Kaepernick to win his lawsuit because when qbs who have been proven to be utter shit or never start games in their by now long careers are getting play time then you might just have a case.
The fact that teams have hit such odd levels of fuck it with backup qbs astounds me that they haven't dug Tebow and Kaepernick up.

Does Tebow even want to come back at this point? He already has nice gigs with ESPN and the Mets.

As for Kaepernick, he's just not as good enough of a player where teams are willing to put up with his shit like they would for guys like T.O., Ochocinco, and Ndamukong Suh.

Guys like Sanchez are favored as backups because they learn offences quickly. Even before Kaepernick was turfed by the '49ers, it was widely reported that he was didn't care about the study aspect of professional football and didn't put in the hours required. Not a good trait when you're a backup and expected to jump in and lead somebody else's offence as opposed to one that's been molded around you, hence not surprised he hasn't been picked up.

AZ & CLE no SB wins. TB has the one big win in the Gruden Bowl, 48-21. I get your drift, but there are more of these kinds of opportunities than openings from elite teams as well. Probably a lot of factors in Bruce's mind.

The Browns have passed on interim coach Gregg Williams and promoted RB coach turned OC Freddie Kitchens instead.

Also, Denver has nabbed Chicago DC Vic Fangio.

So with the season over I think it’s tome we reward the NFL MVP to Nathan Peterman easily the best quarterback I’ve seen all season, his 12 interceptions were so amazing to watch and his 3 passing touchdowns standout as some of the classiest in the history of the NFL.

In seriousness I’m from Atlanta and I want yalls opinions on Bruce Arians to Tampa, I don’t tgink Jameis Winston and him will gel together, and the Falcons getting Dirk Koetter is lowkey a steal

Sweet. We need a defensive minded coach. Cause the offense ain't shit. And if we wanna get anywhere, the defense has to do it.

Of course it's a steal. Sarkisian called plays like an alcoholic. I've seen better play calling in madden. Seriously who throws 4 times inside the 10???
