Nah.
Right. I don't think Davis is short enough $$$ for any American to give one shit about. The notion is really utterly ridiculous.

You'd be surprised. And again, not everyone thinks the COVID is as big a concern. For those of that opinion, its perfectly justifiable to not take precautions.
You'll be surprised too. Those folks that don't think COVID is a big concern are a continually shrinking number as more and more of them get all the facts, change their minds and realize the dangers of this pandemic as it spreads everyplace. Meanwhile don't hold your breath for a working vaccine. That's bc of the other six coronaviruses known to infect humans... no vaccine has yet been found for any of them. I wish I had better news to tell you. Especially since I am in the high risk group.

And with it there goes the number one seed and that lone first round bye in the AFC. Probably to the Ravens. That's if the 2020 NFL season can actually get that far, which seems doubtful at this point.

Oh no. I forgot we have to deal with the idiotic new playoff system. Maybe canceling the season is for the best after all

Who's gonna be that lucky seventh team into the playoffs. The Steelers? The Broncos? The Rams?
Sure won't be great someday when two seventh seeds end up in a not so super Super Bowl. My money is on the LA Rams being one of those kinda teams.

I'm on the complete opposite side of everything you just said. Literally not concerned whatsoever. The closest its gotten to me is 2 degrees of seperation (i.e. I know someone who knows someone), and they were 80 years old and survived. Granted, that's annecdotal evidence, but this thing just isn't that bad. Extremely asymptomatic, almost everyone who's even gotten it will never know, which is why there is no vaccine for the other coranavirus strains. If it were up to me, everything would be open without restrictions. Buuut I am also in the high risk group, so gang gang lol.

Imagine the LA Rams and Tennessee being 7th seeds that both made it to the Superbowl. That would be a shock.

Tennessee in there might not be so bad, but I never want to see the damn Rams in another SB for a long loooooong time. No one is ever re-watching SB 53 bc it was a good game or entertaining, except maybe a few misguided Pats fans.

The entertaining bit was that so many people thought the Rams were going to stomp us into the ground because they'd scored 35-40 points a game all year.
BB was like 'screw that' and just shut them down altogether.
I heard we signed Cam Newton to a one year deal? Terms look good tho, small downside (potential re-injury) and huge upside. Does kind of confirm the local sportscasters claiming that BB doesn't think Stidham is 'the guy'.
FYI, Boston has a suburb called Newton, and my parents live there (I used to as well).
The central question remains, will the season go ahead?

~snippity~
So, in 2020 the NFL might just have to decide the only choice is to take a knee in their own end zone. We'll have to score it a different kind of safety... and have the insight not to spend all next winter bitching about not having football when we have far greater problems.

Not gonna respond to most of this, Im sure there’s a COVID mega thread for that. I think ultimately money will win out though. There’s been no real indication that it won’t until this point.
