Yeah, but that just means that he didn't put enough Capital into the business, to begin with. It also means that he probably didn't go out and try to get Investors in an effort to keep money on hand in case something went wrong.

Just an overall not well thought out business plan.

Completely disagree. He poured a ton of his money into it once this thing hit in order to keep it running. You can't prepare for something like this whatsoever, it's not something you can anticipate. Just really frikkin bad timing.

Poll updated, apologies for the delay, I've been busy. Really want to vote Mariota here, I think he's every bit as good physically as Jackson in this category, but Jackson just...does it better, if that makes sense? Granted, I'm biased.

Noted.

Would you guys be interesting in continuing this series at other positions, maybe throw in the runner-ups for the other side to make a 'perfect' football team? Or just keep this poll series as a one-off?

Ameriganastan wrote:So apparently Plucky Chucky decided to fake having carona.

Not entirely surprised honestly, I head on NFL network's radio after Doug Peterson got it that it would be an interesting exercise for teams to try. That said, I figured they wouldn't actually decieve the players, just have them going without their HC for a week or whatever.

If it was just pocket presence it'd be Brees hands down no second thoughts but maneuverability? Yeah no A-Arod has that in spades.

I feel this is a rather cruel and unnecessary trick. Coaches have already gotten it, the only way a team can prepare is by being proactive, not reactive. But if Jon Gruden was proactive, he wouldn’t be stuck in the early 2000’s thinking he still knows the game.

On a related note, best wishes and prayers for Doug Pederson, I hope he recovers quickly. The Eagles and Saints don’t have to pretend and prepare, they already know what it’s like having a sick leader. :(

We had such high expectations for Guice coming out of LSU. He did so well, seemingly stayed out of trouble (as far as I remember), and helped us win our first BCS Championship in 12 years. I hope he knows the entire state of Louisiana is disappointed in him. Instead of having a blossoming NFL career, he’ll be doing time (if the NFL is serious about trying to do better at standing against domestic violence, anyway).

Not sure if I recognize the other guy, but shame on him as well. A pandemic and uncertain circumstances are no excuse for such sociopathic behavior.

I'm thinking maneuverability more in terms of in the pocket than out, otherwise it would have gone into the last round, and Jackson would have taken it again.

I think Brady and Manning are the best two pocket guys I've ever seen. As most of you know, I'm a Manning>Brady guy, but I think I'd give it to Tom in that category.

Not as passing, in terms of manipulating the pocket and buying time without scrambling. That said, I would believe that.

PFF's grading system is subjective and I think it's important to remember that, because they have guidelines that they follow but in essence they watch every play and determine a grade for it. But they listed it as Mahomes at 1 and Jimmy GQ at 2. Granted, this was from a year ago.

I think also the highest passer rating outside the pocket in 2018. He can scramble out quite well and pass the ball. That's how he kept so many plays alive, allowing for the Eagles slow and battered WR corps to get space.

Wentz can certainly play and I’d believe that he had the top out of pocket passer rating. Colin Cowherd puts it pretty well about him- he’s throwing to lawn furniture and deck chairs. Dude still got the eagles into the playoffs.

Also, college football is not happening this season.

I think it would have to be spelled ‘Shutuh Pran’ do be pronounced correctly. Anyone who hasn’t voted, do, cuz this one’s tight.

College football is done 2020. ACC is hoping to play by I doubt it. Absolutely disgusting decision by these presidents, athletic directors and such. They have no right to make this decision for the players.

I mean, they do have the right, financially and legally. But you get my drift.

Some of it is, but it’s being moved to the spring. (SWAC is doing this for instance.) The Big Ten may change their minds and do the same. They get too much money from football and making their decision last-minute is going to rip a hole in them.
