Hardly. He's on a contract, and Cam Newton is their other option.

WWL's Scoot pissed off a lot of people on his Facebook Account today by sharing a "news" article from The Onion. I've been laughing at the idiots in the post all night.
Although, these are the same people that have been saying saying "I'm going to unfollow you" for as long as I've been following him.

...Not always. And according to former teammates...definitely not always. One of the principal reasons Mike McCarthy left, if stories are to be believed. Well...aside from the fact that McCarthy’s coaching took a steep slide after their Super Bowl win in 2012. (Holy cow was it that long ago?)
That said, Rodgers tries, and socially does make an attempt to make things right at times. Maybe he and Drew can talk? They’ve been respectful of each other in the past.

They're both in the multimillionaire elite NFL QB club. Aaron don't want Drew bringin' any shade onto the club.

Considering that they have almost equal power in the NFL (both are heavily involved in the NFLPA) and are influential QBs, I think if they could discuss the matter of the actual protests together, it would demonstrate to others, especially people who look-up to them, that anyone can learn to understand other people and their movements if they try. Aaron's a bit arrogant at times, and Drew occasionally says things he shouldn't (in fact I think this is the first time since maybe BountyGate that he himself has gotten major negative press), but I do think that despite this they are still both good people trying their best to make sense of what has unfolded in America. I hope this doesn't come across as some simple bias, because even I, a rabid Saints fan, can tell when our team's biggest hero has done something he shouldn't, and should try to make up for it.

I mean I guess that’s inescapable now, previously we could talk about other things, but this is more or less the only thing people are talking about, so naturally they coincide. I don’t feel this is going to end when football season starts again, either. I wish we could just talk about mindless offseason things, but this year is basically on fire and there’s no way out right now.

Even then, political things in the background like NFL owners using taxpayer money to pay for stadium upgrades and such are always in play.

In Trump world apologizing for anything = weakness.
And in other news, I'm going to have to dislike Goodell a bit less, once again... what's happening with the world?

Speaking of which, the Rams’ and Chargers’ new stadium is reportedly almost done. Anyone think it will boost their attendance numbers? They gotta pay-off all the banks they probably borrowed from. Or was that just Mark Davis who derped that hard?
