He was a spoiled brat who's works contributed to misery and destruction. If you actually read the communist manifesto, it's pretty awful. People do criticize Nietzche and Heidegger for their influence on fascism.

Adam Smith is the only of any of those you mentioned that you can't point a finger at for being immoral. He never advocated any sort of violence, lived a more or less nonconfrontational live, was purely technical. You can criticize him on his points or his reasoning, but you can't assign moral blame to him nor call him an abomination. All he literally said was that tariffs are bad and that trade is good.

What are you even bitching about fam? It's just sad and rather confusing to witness, there is no other (western) European alphabet, we're still all using the Latin alphabet, lmao.

That's the point, famalam. :^)

Nah, there's definitely a point. How does it feel, though, knowing your French language is the product of thievery from the Latins? :^)

Nah. It's a simple rebuttal to your claim that Kanji is "stealing" from the Chinese language.

Again, how does it feel to know that your French steals from the Latin alphabet, meant for the Latin language? :^)

It's not a rebuttal. It's not even a moving the goal post. It's a plain non sequitur and a very retarded one at that and the fact that you're so proud of it in spite of its shitiness is beyond my understanding.
More than that however, it causes me physical pain to have to state the so-blatantly obvious.

It's not like the latter are significantly harder than the former.

Aellex, if anything, the Europeans are even more unoriginal and thief-like in nature, since half their languages are called Romance languages. If anything, the Japanese Kanjis are much less stolen from the Chinese than the Latin alphabet is stolen from the Latins.

K but can we talk about the idea of "stealing" kanji? That's like stealing keychains at a convention.

If anyone has a right to be salty about the adoption of kanji, it's me (I had to learn them in school) and even I find this characterization of them being “stolen” silly.

I have no reason to be ashamed. I'm quite fine with the fact that my English ancestors so long ago decided to steal an entire alphabet from the Latins. It's quite a convenient alphabet to use, all things considered. :3

A phonetic alphabet would be a lot more convenient and easier to learn, especially when coupled with a language (like German or some Inuit languages) that are extremely agglutinative.

I generally lean towards left-libertarianism though I think it is important to maintain a strong socialist security system in the beginning to defend the people from anti-revolution forces both outside and within. That may require making difficult decisions on occasion.

My personal view is that the state, along with other similar systems such as corporations and 'scientific' racism/sexism/homophobia, are inherently oppressive institutions and must be abolished altogether. How is this relevant to your point?

Because your plan would constitute a betrayal of the revolution, and to borrow Marx's term, the 'dictatorship of the proletariat' would form, replacing the former capitalist state and conditions would be no better for the proletariat in terms of freedom, democracy, self-fulfillment, happiness and other measures. Only their wealth would increase and nothing more.

The proletariat will be blinded so long as they can be divided along religious, ethnic, national, race lines etc that allows the capitalists to pick and choose which groups can have a semblance of power and higher status. It is necessary in the short term in order for all the proletariat to realize that they have no true power and only then will they be able to unite.

Also, Marx is not the only socialist to look up to, especially given some of his more...problematic views and overall Eurocentric ideas.

Surely it's about limiting the extent of authoritarian means. They're not an-caps.

There is an out of control trolley speeding towards Jeremy Bentham, who is tied to the track. You can pull the lever to cause the trolley to switch tracks, but on the other track is Immanuel Kant. Bentham is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Critique of Pure Reason. Kant is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Principles of Moral Legislation. Both men are shouting at you that they have recently started to reconsider their ethical stances.

Yes, authoritarianism-libertarianism is a spectrum, but there's no such thing as a libertarian who uses means that are well into the other end of the spectrum.
