I always thought the media were just ignorant idiots but the way the Journalist IMMEDIATELY changed the conversation and looked like he shat himself live on air leads me to believe these chucklefucks who lie about socialism = state constantly know exactly what they are doing.

Could be a little of both--they don't really know anything about socialism except that it's BAD because "it means the gubmint owns your house" and are trained to constantly press on that when mentioning socialism (without having a good enough understanding of it to actually disagree on an intellectual level), so if someone offers any idea of socialism that isn't that they have literally no idea what to do because they don't understand what socialism is to begin with, but know that they're supposed to think it's bad.

Governments do not have rights. Constitutions around the world guarantee them powers, but not rights, which are exclusive to man and citizen. Taxation is a social convention, and the scope of taxation can only be to the degree that it is willed by those who have rights.
