To quote Hitchens: "civility is overrated". Not always unwarranted, but overrated and too often abused, especially when the other side does not care for civility or its counterpart, decorum. It's quite similar to the paradox of tolerance - in order to maintain a society of tolerance, we cannot tolerate the intolerant. A certain level of self-preservation supersedes tolerance, or in this case, civility.

Plenty will justify their worldview regardless of what someone says or does to them. Thanks to the internet, even the most despicable views can find a decent sized audience and reinforce the views of others. Sometimes there are views so bad the person holding them deserves to be judged.

Someone clearly missed out on that big old scientific book of Bread Santa's known as Mutual Aid: A Factor of Evolution which Stephen Jay Gould, one of the most prominent proponents of evolutionary science, agreed with. In between clear anti-white racist comments elsewhere, she now writes for the independent and in those articles parrots the usual progressive talking points, because while progressives might be in denial over the impact of their politics, an open and explicit anti-white racist understands the implications and effects perfectly well.

The daily mail and the far-right have not yet transitioned from dogwhistling to hiring open Klan members who rave about the evils of miscegenation like the progressive left have now done on multiple occasions. What's intriguing is that many on the progressive left don't seem to want to answer the question of where their bias/implicit racists/sexists are.

This is because their ideology and movement IS the implicit/bias type. The impact of their politics is to normalize hostility and contempt for whites/males and a lack of empathy for them, as well as animosity toward people trying to help them and so on, and that normalization of hostility and contempt eventually tips over into open and proud bigots being tolerated in their ranks. This is also true for far-right politics, but there, the dynamic is well acknowledged.
