I'm certain that criticisms could be flung back as well given that the Sexual Revolution caused an explosion in STD's throughout the sixties and seventies as well as an increase in out-of-wedlock pregnancies. That's not an argument that I'm making here, but it's worthwhile to actually consider the other side's argument before concluding that they have nothing at all to offer society.

We need more, not fewer, gadflies for the family and for discipline. I'm not in favor of abstinence-only sexual education, but urging moderation, restraint, and respect are important as well.
