There have been plenty of presidents that were fat. 5 of them were even considered by modern the BMI standards to be Obese. I think his BMI is roughly from a 35 to 40 scale and we've had presidents with a much higher rate than this. Heck there was one Prez that got stuck plenty of times in the white house bathtub. None of these died during office. Trump's is just the latest one in any case.

To be fair, the healthcare a President has available to him now, compared to back then, was almost certainly night-and-day.

This isn't to say Trump wasn't able to afford quality care previously, but now it is of national security concern, and is treated appropriately.

While I don't agree with a lot of what he did, I feel for his family. Little late, but never too late to share my thoughts.

But McCain, I considered an exception. As much as I disagreed with his politics, I thought he was a stand-up guy and an admirable leader, and this country has suffered a loss with his passing.

Which kind of reminds me of George H. W. bush. While I disagree with his politics and foreign policy, he's a pretty nice guy from what I hear.

Plenty of jabs at Trump from some of the speakers which you can't really separate from the point made, and it was not as if the McCain himself did not hit back with full force and then some while he was still around.

MCCain always stood up to any bully he encountered. Trump happened to be the last one.

The neocons were a travesty and did immense harm to this country. McCain was a major figure in that movement. Being "so brave" does remotely excuse him, many destructive leaders were courageous soldiers.
