I've noticed that Trump seems to be having a lot of people in his sights again after the midterms.

Well yes, Trump can never fail, he can only be failed!

Since, as he well knows, he is THE GREATEST PRESIDENT IN HISTORY, ADORED AND WORSHIPPED BY ALL, the only possible explanation for midterm setbacks is failure of the people around him to properly do what he wants, because then it would have been a BIGLY YUGE LANDSLIDE for Republicans.

Throw in a dash of DEVIOUSLY HIDDEN VOTER FRAUD by the Democrats and voila, Trump has his safe little bubble maintained where he can never, ever, under any circumstances, have been wrong or have even a modicum of responsibility for anything that didn't go the way he wanted.

Real talk, I've been waiting for their return for ages.

I'm trying not to force-meme myself as a news superhuman here, but i don't need to hide my natural superiority. I spend 60 hours a week reading news, giving that information to a staff of journalists and advising them about how to report on it by telling them what I think about the information. This means lots of sifting between "news" and "noise", and at least 92% of raw information goes into the "noise" pile. Millions of people consume the media that comes off of my assembly line, and I only write here because i have to do a certain amount of free-writing and arguing with outsiders, or my brain will stop working.

This is a pretty boring group though, I might move onto another forum. Lots of weird transgender types, it's getting really strange out there.

Anyway, I am obviously going to be better at news than you guys if it's my job, and find your news selection and analysis to be absolutely plebian.

Midterm election defeats after 2 years of presidency are a historical norm and the overall result of the midterms was pretty average and indicates nothing. However, as the cited article pointed out - and this is a pretty anti-Trump publication - republicans who leaned more towards the Trump platform did better, and it was more centrist, never-Trump competitors, people who Trump did not turn out to campaign for or who asked Trump not to hold rallies for them, who failed.

This indicates that, broadly speaking, Trump is correct to blame the extent of republican failure in the midterms to their disloyalty to him and his platform. Voters are animated to turn out because of his politics, and not because of pre-Trump conservative politics.

The results on the other side were just as polarizing. More "extreme" leftist candidates did better than centrist ones, and the election moved the Democrats further to the left. On both ends, the political "center" has become nonviable for candidates, political polarization is increasing, and it is this way in the entire world.

As for that journalist, no one cares. The Saudis have been genociding the Yemeni with Ameircan-bought weapons for years now, inflicting huge damage on their civilian population - and no one cares, until these "NEVER BLUMPFH" shills are told to care about some random journalist.

Journalists treat journalists like some sort of protected class or chosen people. I have -nothing- but contempt for people who actually feel outrage about this dead journo because the TV tells them to feel that outrage, and feel nothing about the Yemen situation because the TV has not told them to feel the feeling about that issue.

Within my work, we call these people "lemmings" (natural, spineless followers) or "proles", as well as other, more derogatory terms which I will not write here, all to suggest that they do not really have more agency than a cow.

Take it from me - the people who write your news have nothing but contempt for your endless appetite for cheap shock, your total lack of sense of relevance, and your generally servile, group-think nature.

What really happened there, anyway, is that Turkey has aligned itself with Russia / Iran / Syria, which means aligning itself against NATO / Israel / Saudi Arabia, and so they decided to attack Saudi Arabia by blaming them for this thing. I do not know if they really did this thing - no one knows except for intelligence services and they aren't telling anyone. It doesn't matter if it happened or not though, this is just a masterful manipulation of how holy journalists think they are, to get them to turn against a NATO / Israeli puppet state, which they would support on any other day and run media cover for as they massacre the Yemeni.

Again - absolute contempt for your programmed outrage. Literally goyim.

This has been nothing more than a redundant experiment to prove the well-known theory that, when the information-consumers are confronted, simultaneously, with "real high level analysis" and "emotional shock" they will always ignore the real high level analysis, and respond to the emotional shock.

Generally speaking, it is understood that you do not know how to respond to new information, until you see your group of people responding to that information - and then you mimic their response.

So far, no one has had anything to say about "the realignment of Turkey with Russia, and away from the EU" or "the rise of radical politics on both sides in the West, as evidenced by the last midterms." All you have been able to do is respond to bait when I tell you, accurately, that you belong to a servant caste, which consumes and repeats ideas but which does not generate them.

A peasant, at least, would not be offended by this assertion because his rulers were honest enough to tell him that it is true, and that this is how the world works and will always work.
