Fucking hell, man. The UN is not a global government. Everything there is voluntary. UNHRC? Voluntary. Law of the Seas? Voluntary. ICC is voluntary, even the jurisdiction of the ICJ is voluntary. It all depends on what treaties you sign. The UN is nothing but cooperation, a country is only bound by the rules it itself accepts. The world doesn’t care that the US has a new president, it expects the US to keep to its bargains. Otherwise, it is not cooperation, but a one way street in which the US reaps the benefits of cooperation while the rest of the world has to wonder if they will be stabbed in the back tomorrow.

Trump made the UN into a globalist boogeyman that both lays down the law but is also too weak to stand up to him, and I bet his supporters are taking it in like apple juice. Name me one thing the US has to do without a supporting treaty it signed.
