Clearly she should've pulled on those bootstraps harder and taken a fourth job so she could've put her foot on top of the rest of the world's poor and declared herself successful /s

Tfw you are poor and can’t afford bootstraps but you don’t have a good enough job to get the money you need for bootstraps but your boss won’t give you a raise and the price of boots just increased.

Yeah, and my thirty-one sources disagree with your one source :^)

Also, your graph shows that half the world's making less than $2,000 annually, which averages out to $166 a month, or $41.5 dollars a week, or $8 a day. Funny how even your own graph disagrees with you. :^)))

Worker compensation has been proven to be linked directly to productivity already. The two pillars of wealth accumulation are, in essence, human capital and savings/investment (on this order of priority). So if you want to get rich, improve your skills, save and invest.

Who wins: one international organization named World Bank, or one international organization named OECD?

$5.47 a day, ftfy. Also, that's in $1990. Converting it to $2018 means the median daily income is $10.50.
P.S.: The poverty line is usually agreed at $1.25 a day, so you are wrong even by your own affirmation.

The thirty-one sources beat the one, even though the one agrees with them anyway :^)

If you operate off the assumption that people work seven days a week, that is. I forgot that we're efficient machines and not humans, which is why we don't have weekends.

P.S.: The poverty line is usually agreed at $1.25 a day, so you are wrong even by your own affirmation.

Anecdotally, $14 a week is enough to keep yourself from starving to death in Brazil. Poorer countries have a higher bang for the buck, purchasing-power wise.

Poorer countries also have less money. $14 a week might be good in Brazil, but less Brazilians have that much income than Americans
