If from the time you can talk everyone tells you you're a God and all the people say you are and anybody says otherwise gets stabbed, I guess you're a God. Why disbelieve it? Hell, once they were teenagers they were gonna kind of assume it anyway...

Teenagers aren't that bad. We're only demigods. Anyways, but they would have had to know. Being a god is impossible. Even if they thought it was true they should have known that they weren't as powerful as they were saying.
