Couple this eco-toilet with some people's bad aim, and you have a recipe for an assault against noses.

Come off it. With all the garlic, it already smells bad :P

It's fine. The capital already stinks to high heaven.

It's fine, it's fine, but why even have these eco toilets in the first place? Would be better to just build more at points of interest (like beside restaurants). Sure, it will be costly and might need the utilities, but hey, it doesn't stink as much!

I have had toilet-related horror stories, and suffice to say... toilets are not exactly something that you want to be eco with for now (until we can annihilate our waste with Mass-Energy sci-fi stuff).

More public toilets would be ideal, I agree, mainly because I'm in the can't use a urinal camp without some serious defiance of physics, so I'm siding with the feminists and throwing stones at the exhibitionists.

But seriously, muted colours, side streets only, privacy screening. It's not difficult.

I'd suggest portable toilets, but those places are like the 8th level of hell.

Being outside is when you want to spend as little time in the toilet as possible.

For Singapore, about 90% of the toilets are passable, to be honest. Pretty clean, especially for the ones in the shopping malls.

Myanmar is when it all start to gone down the crapper, literally. I won't say anything because it wil be TMI, so let's just say "Home toilet is the best".

For that you'll have to visit a restaurant or some other establishment. Protip: always carry a pack of moist towelettes or a bottle of hand sanitizer with you whenever you find yourself in unknow urban jungles.

That's a useful tip even when you know there's a public bathroom with handwashing facilities. Because a lot of them are poorly maintained and you never know when the sink or handdryer will be out of order.
