I think I finally realized that I do not, in fact, want to be a scientist, and would rather get into the arts. My mom agrees, and she says that my enthusiasm for science kind of died after I learned that I couldn't work with human patience as an oncologist. So, that's figured out. It'd be nice to have a decent paying job, but I'd be miserable doing the kind of work I was thinking about getting into. Someone told me that if I thought there was even a chance of me being miserable in the field I wanted to get into that I should probably find something else to do.

Wait a sec, are there people who are only on General for the most part? I just found an account with, like, 12 posts, but they've been around since 2016 (are posts in general counted? IDK. I guess that'll be answered with this post.)

For some reason I was under the impression that almost everyone used NS explicitly for RP, and that I'd encounter the people in TET eventually.

Prince and Princesses are epitomes of youth with some power. You may not have the same power as a King or a Queen, but hey, you're young, you're a royalty, and the world's an oyster!

Granted, there are young kings and queens in history, but because of the shows and movies, when you think king or queen, you think, "Oh crap, that senile hag again."

I’m lucky to be alive right now and my back is fucked up. Blew my nose and straight salt water came out like it was a faucet.

As long as waves are more than twice as tall as you, you should pause to reconsider.

Only reason I survived was because two absolute L A D S were out in the water with me and saw me dying out there

I’ve almost died in potentially more gory ways than drowning on land but being in the water and dying absolutely sucks the most. I would rather have died in that ATV accident than just now. Almost snapped my spine when a giant wave blasted me and then launched me forward so fast I was flailing and couldn’t tell up from down until I got slammed into the ground and twisted my back in all sorts of unnatural ways.

On another note, resetting my aging iPhone 6 Plus, i.e. wiping out every single piece of data and settings. Start fresh, I guess.

It's been with me since Aug 2015 and I haven't really gave it a clean slate (and instead using backups and filling it with hundreds of apps).
