I only started that case review last Sunday: thank God that the prof gave the class an extension to yesterday (though I was nearly done by Tuesday, but I was finished by Wednesday).

Midnight on Thursday is so ambiguous: it is either 12 am on Thursday, or 11:59 pm on Thursday.

In about a month, we have Reading week, which is basically the same thing as your Recess week. Not that many bother to do their readings during that time. :P

The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion … but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.

The most fundamental problem of politics is not the control of wickedness but the limitation of righteousness.
