Why'd you post it in TET?

This seemed like the right place. My interpretation is that this is the most generic general thread in all of General where people just discuss whatever and cut loose.

In the past on here, I've perhaps been too harsh against the prospect of Puerto Rico statehood. I still don't like the place and its people, (they're too Spanish) but nevertheless it seems that their claim is legitimate. For better or worse, the US has an overseas collection of Pacific and some Caribbean islands. I'm reluctantly loosening my criteria for what makes a good US state. Letting everyone know.

It is less problematic than accepting the Philippines as a state in any case. The upside is that there are only 3 million there. Not quite enough in my view, to swing elections permanently to Democrats.

I'm finally going to concede that Puerto Rico is apart of the United States- on the same level as is the case for American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, and the United States Virgin Islands. I can't find anything to the contrary given the history.

Of all of the permanently inhabited territories that the US has, Puerto Rico seems to be the most likely to be able to officially become a state. I've come to terms with the possibility that it may if certain events come to pass. I have plenty of hope however, that Puerto Rico will go the route the Philippines did in embracing independence.

I had a weird dream days ago, when I had one of those free days where I am just worldbuilding and being on TET (i.e. using NS).

I got a Tele from Farn, who offered me Mod-hood, along with a few other tagged nations. The weird thing is, a good 75% of the nations Farn put in the tele are CTE, and my nation's name was spelled wrongly, although I was still tagged correctly.

"Would you like to become a Mod? If yes, please give an example or two about why you would make a good candid."

All of this which totally went against the proper procedure.

Right?! I usually have them when I know that an exam is around the corner, or that some form of test is due in next few days.

In the dream, my scenario would go... "What the f**k is a Eigenvector? / Which passage is Adam Smith referring to?" And it all goes downhill from there.
