Isn't that the typical Filipino machete or knife? That's what I know as a parang.

Ah, we seem to be lost in translation. That's a different Philippine language, I believe. in Tagalog (the language I know), parang is "like," as in "parang ganito," means "like this," or when somebody says parang and then trail off it can mean "It's like..."

I have no clue what language that is, but the word I know for knife is kutsilyo. Like cuchillo.

The number varies depends on who you ask too, since a lot of people aren't able to agree on which smaller not-as-widely-spoken languages are considered dialects. It's pretty cool, tbh, except for the part where I only know 1 language out of at least a hundred.

But I'm bilingual so that makes me better off than a lot of people in, idk, America? South America?

Baseball is plenty international. You got Cuban players, Mexican players, I think there's a couple of Venezuelans in there, Japanese players, this one guy from China...you get the point.

Never have I screwed up badly for a quiz. Granted, it's only 10% of my grades, but shit, it hurts.

A combination of busy projects, lack of preparation, and... not studying hard enough.

No matter, I say, as I study further ahead for the other tests and exams.
