That's cool. The ribbon I had on my old Underwood had a dual red/black ribbon. It certainly wasn't the standard. I'd guess our neighbor lady must have installed it before she gave up on the thing and bought that new electric one.

You can actually re-ink some of the ribbons yourself, but it is a bit time-consuming and messy.

One of my great-grandfathers died age 104 despite being an eighty a day kinda guy. His wife is in her nineties and still going strong despite the same habit.

Clearly these walking tobacco nests were destined for a lifespan of at least 500.

Personally, I loathe coffin nails. The Marlboro man killed off my Dad, that plus all the second hand smoke form those doctor approved Camels. But pot is bad. Right.
