I think they did open a store in London.
IIRC, there was a thing in the newspaper about how this was the vanguard of new frontiers. It wasn't.
British girls don't play with that kind of frilly thing. Especially at the prices I seem to remember them advertising.

Having had a curiosity Google the only current stores outside of the US are in Canada, the UAE, and Bahrain, because of course they are.

Hmm... I'm sure I remember some frou-frou American doll shop opening in London. One of those posh areas with a lot of wealthy-mummy footfall.
Either it closed or it was a different one. :)

Oh, that wasn't meant to come across as "You're full of BS, I'm on to you!. I'm sure they'd have tried London if they sought international expansion. I'm also sure they'd have tanked something chronic. Looks like a creepier Baby Born with wigs, wigs that apparently increase its sales tag by fifty bucks.

No worries; it didn't come across that way.
I don't understand why something like looks like an uglier inflated version of the dolls my mother used to put over spare loo rolls are so popular myself. But I suppose, at those prices, you don't have to sell so many to turn a profit.

Reminds me of an inappropriately high end clothes store in my old Irish home town, which is resolutely working class. On the high street, opened during the height of the recession, have not seen a single person in there apart from a very bored looking sales clerk in those ten years, and I visit home a lot. Still somehow in business.
Some business models must surely involve pacts with demons.

Or money laundering, one or the other
