IIRC, there was a thing in the newspaper about how this was the vanguard of new frontiers. It wasn't.

Stuff from China itself is a weird mix. There are some things that worked as well as its price tag, i.e. breaks easily. Other times, they last for extraordinary long periods of time that I have to wonder what I just bought.

I have flashlights that broke within a few weeks, while there are Tiger-brand ones that took multiple hits and was still kicking.
