The bourgeois is not white males, even though white males may compose most of it. The bourgeois is a socioeconomic class that has interests that do not see color, much like the proleteriat. The reason why racism exists is because of class tensions. The black population in the USA's south was discriminated against not because they were black, but because they were a new population of workers who the whites at the time didn't really care much about. They were not taken into prison and enslaved again because they were black, but rather because they were available workers and the authorities could get away with it.
